LETS DANCE!

Lets Dance from Edmonton Alberta!!! we had the pleasure of having these 4 fine young rock n roll, junk food eating, gangsta rapping, party dudes at our place. Rocket reducers played 4 shows around southern Ontario with lets dance.

The boys were nice enough to put myself and my band up for a few days at their place last summer, so naturally, it was time to return the rock n roll favor.

Ben Disaster!

day 1

when the boys arrived to Hamilton we found out Ben mangled his hand on a broken bottle in N.Y.C and was going to get antibiotics to hopefully stop infection. The first night he had to bail from the hospital to play the show, partying ensued and he woke up the next day and headed for the hospital.

day 2
since the band was crashing around our place for 4 days they drove me to all the shows, and put up with my chain smoking.
the next day we played a early show in London, had fun, got stoned and on the ride home thought we saw a U.F.O but we were just stoned, talked about the sweet BBQ i had planned for us, feasted, drank white Russians and passed out.

day 3
woke up early and before the show me and Ringo made a pit stop in Niagara Falls, because the dudes had never been, Matt was stoked. He got to cross seeing Niagara Falls off of a list of things normal people want to see.

Byron, Ben, Matt and Thomas.

St Catherine's always a good city to play, all our friends come out and we had a blast, plus it was Grubers a.k.a Burgers birthday. drink tickets and $3.50 shots of jack all night, till Ringo, Lets Dance and myself drove home to hammer city to drink till the wee hours and fry our brains.

Terrible Thomas

day 4
i got up and made a shit ton of cassettes, dubbing them 1 at a time because we ran out of l.p's in London and wanted something to sell in Toronto. i did the artwork the night before and hand assembled them on the ride, all while sweating my balls off. ah Toronto, the city where everybody shows up late, misses your band, doesn't buy a record and swears they'll be at the next show. Before the show we swung by hits and misses so i could blow my cash wad on some records. found time for pizza pies, and headed to the silver dollar! the show was fine, the beer was cold, and when it was all done i was sad to see lets dance go. those guys are some of the nicest coolest rock n roll blood brothers you could hope for. i hope we meet again soon. I already miss the pitter patter of little Thomas and Byron running up the stairs, the Nas records when i wake up. the fruity pebbles, and the endless appetite those boys have for $3.50 assorted subs.
